Knowsley Leisure Centre is the largest leisure centre in Knowsley. West Lancs Contractors were contracted by Balfour Beatty Construction to install external SFS walls, line and insulate them, build all metal stud partitions, install metal frame, suspended grid ceilings, and acoustic treatment.

Knowsley Leisure Centre stands out among other projects with extensive and complicated acoustic installations, ranging from suspended baffles to acoustic islands.

Gateacre-Hope school is one of the largest newly built schools in Liverpool. West Lancs Contractors were contracted to install external SFS walls, line and insulate them, build all metal stud partitions, install plasterboard and suspended grid ceilings.

Gateacre schools stands out among other projects with extensive atrium works which included complex balustrade and curved ‘PODs’.

Part of the Building Schools for the Future investment programme, North Huyton was the first of the seven Balfour Beatty Knowsley School projects to go live. Each centre is characterised by large and flexible open plan learning spaces and the extensive use of internal terraces.

Our services were engaged late in the project, therefore by necessity we worked to an accelerated timescale.

Elysian Fields is a very high specification, prestigious apartment complex developed by Iliad Group as a part of Liverpool Rowe Walks regeneration scheme.

West Lancs Contractors were contracted to install partitions, ceiling and external Panablok framing system. Due to numerous bespoke elements such as the use of Marley Multiclad to external terraces, this was a challenging project requiring close co-ordination with consultants and other trades.

West Lancs Contractors were contracted to carry out partitions, ceiling, joinery and painting works in Buca di Beppo restaurant in Newcastle.

Client was highly satisfied with our services and requested as to fit out another four restaurants.

Part of Building Schools for the Future investment programme, Kirkby Community Learning Centre was the second of Knowsley School projects awarded to WLC by Balfour Beatty on the strength of our project delivery at Christ the King learning centre.

In addition to providing partitioning, ceilings, and firestopping works, we were requested to provide internal SFS works to Sports Hall.

Even though this project was accompanied by significant layout and architectural detail changes, due to our experience in large projects we were able to overcome all challenges and finish the project on time.
